ATA Level 1 - General Familiarization Maintenance Training
Target
Personnel: Maintenance Managers,
Supervisors, and Support Personnel
Course Objectives: Upon completion of the course, the student will
have an understanding of major aircraft systems
 AVMATT offers
this for personnel who desire an introduction to the airplane, its major
systems, and its operating characteristics.
It is designed
for management personnel who need to have a general understanding of the
aircraft, but do not need airplane systems operations with the depth or
detail required by line maintenance personnel.
The course is not customized for individual airplanes and airline
operations. AVMATT has designed the general familiarization course
level to provide the student with an overview of aircraft system operation
of avionics, mechanical, electrical, and powerplant systems. |

In addition,
ground handling, dimensions, terminology, servicing, maintenance
practices, tooling, and test equipment are also part of the course
contents. The system schematic diagrams used in this course are developed
block diagrams.
This is a
generic course and the system schematics may not represent some specifics
on the customer's aircraft.
